The Joy melange double-breasted mid-thigh-length coat is a limited edition winter coat with dropped shoulders. A comfortable, relaxed fit with a double-breasted button fastening. The stylish, turned-down, wide lapel collar, when turned up, will protect you from the chilly wind. Mid-thigh length – the perfect balance of elegance, functionality and comfort. An oversized coat. The lower-set sleeves influence the coat’s overall construction and make it appear wider, particularly at the top. It has plenty of room for a woollen jumper, a nylon thermal layer or a blazer. If you’re a fan of layered looks, this is the perfect choice for you. The jacket is made from a soft fabric with a high wool content. What’s more, it’s fully lined, making it perfect for autumn and winter.

In this coat, looking good is a breeze! Jeans, a dress or leggings – you’ll look stunning in anything. Joy is an oversized coat – its simple cut and set-in sleeves give it a looser, roomier fit. For advice on how to measure yourself and choose the right size, see the tab How to choose a size? Material: 97% virgin wool, 3% cashmere
Lining: acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and permeable to air. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
The Joy melange double-breasted mid-thigh-length coat was designed and made in our family workshop. To ensure the pattern on every part of the coat matches perfectly, the fabric is laid out by hand. This not only minimises waste but, above all, ensures that you receive a coat refined down to the very finest detail. We put a lot of heart into our work to ensure that every coat is unique,
The jacket should be dry-cleaned. How do you look after your coat? – as we explain in our section. For refreshing wool yourself, we recommend Brush for cleaning and care of the coat, which you can buy in our shop. Looking after your clothes and extending their lifespan is also a way of showing care for the environment.
Individual order - Some modifications can be made at the client's request: shortening, lengthening of the sleeve, shortening and lengthening of the coat. Cost to be determined individually, after prior contact.
An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
Delivery times depend on our current stock levels and the availability of the specific colour of fabric. If the coat in question is in stock at our workshop, your order will be processed very quickly – within 2–5 working days. If the order requires customisation – such as alterations or the creation of a new coat – the lead time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
We practice traditional craftsmanship and do not sew coats for stock, so please be patient while waiting for your order. We make every effort to sew this coat for you as soon as possible.
