Florence coat with a dropped shoulder line We have made it from a soft, thick fabric with a high wool content, which gives the garment exceptional drape and an elegant look. This is the style with a loose, a little oversized fit. It has been deliberately oversized, particularly at the top, for greater comfort and a modern look. This means the coat can accommodate a thicker jumper or jacket. It also lends the whole outfit a light, relaxed feel. Double-row, fastened with buttons in a darker shade. To accentuate the waist, the coat has a strap made from the same fabric. The Florence oversized winter coat in burgundy herringbone is a relaxed-fit style. The upper part has a looser shape, which gives the whole piece a relaxed, modern feel. If you prefer a more fitted cut, we recommend choosing a size smaller than your usual size. However, the charm of this style lies in its casual, slightly oversized fit.
Compared to classic coats with set-in sleeves, the Florence runs roughly one size larger. The key to this style is that the fabric should drape loosely over the hips – it shouldn’t cling to them. Lining: 100% viscose
The look is completed by a soft viscose lining with a subtle sheen, which ensures comfort and highlights the elegance of the meticulous finish. The viscose lining is highly absorbent and breathable. It is treated with an anti-static finish and is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Insulation: 100% recycled polyester non-woven insulation
We insulate our coats with compressed, thermally insulating non-woven fabric quilted onto the lining. The non-woven fabric is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and yet provides excellent insulation. The insulation we use is moisture-resistant (it retains its insulating properties and warmth even in damp conditions), windproof, hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 certified.
How to look after your coat
The coat should be dry-cleaned. However, you can take care of it on a day-to-day basis by using the following products offered in our shop Brushes for cleaning and care of the coat. A family-run studio in Poznań
All our coats are made in our workshop, which is why we can accept bespoke orders involving alterations made at the customer’s request. For this model, Individual order – We can shorten or lengthen a sleeve, or alter the length of a coat. We determine the cost on a case-by-case basis, after assessing the scope of the work following prior contact. An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
The order processing time depends on current stock levels in our workshop and the availability of the specific colour of fabric. If the coat is already made, the order will be processed very quickly, within 2–5 working days. If the coat needs to be made to order or the order requires customisation – such as alterations or the creation of a new coat according to the customer’s specifications – the order fulfilment time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
