Material: 60% wool, 22% polyester, 10% viscose, 8% alpaca
Lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and allowing air to pass through. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
The Athena mid-calf insulated coat should be dry-cleaned. For home wool cleaning we recommend Brush for cleaning and care of the coat, which can be purchased in our shop. What to do to enjoy your coat indefinitely is suggested under How to care for and maintain coats. By taking care of your clothing you are at the same time taking care of the environment.
On special request, we can make small modifications, such as shortening or lengthening the sleeve, shortening or lengthening the coat. Such modifications give the order a status of Individual order. Individual order is not exchangeable or refundable.
The lead time depends on the company's current stock and the availability of a given fabric colour. If a given coat is available in the company, the order will be realised very quickly - 2-5 working days. If individualisation of the order is necessary - making alterations or sewing a new coat - the lead time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
We are a family-run workshop where we practice traditional tailoring. We minimise waste and avoid overproduction, so we do not sew coats for stock. We therefore ask for your patience as we need to sew this coat for you.
