A classic Maya light camel-coloured diplomat’s coat with a double-breasted fastening. The coat fastens with two buttons; the rest serve a decorative purpose. The cuffs are also adorned with hand-sewn buttons. The coat has a simple cut, with a gently fitted back (the hem features a vent) and shaping darts at the front. No belt. Two diagonally sewn-in pockets, topped with decorative horizontal flaps. And a classic, timeless colour. The coat is fully lined. With the Maya style, the most important thing is that it fits properly at the hips, as if it’s too tight in that area, it doesn’t look very flattering. We can confidently recommend this jacket for apple-shaped or rectangular body types. Pear-shaped women, on the other hand, will look stylish in this jacket when worn unbuttoned.
Material: 47% wool, 30% polyester, 23% viscose
Lining: 100% acetate
Acetate, like viscose, is made from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be produced from recycled cellulose, such as paper. Acetate lining absorbs moisture exceptionally well and is breathable, ensuring comfort when worn. It is treated with an anti-static finish and is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
The coat should be dry-cleaned. It’s also worth looking after your coat at home. For this, we recommend Brush for cleaning and care of the coat. We designed and sewed the classic Maya light camel-coloured diplomat’s coat in our family workshop in Poznań. We practise traditional tailoring, using time-honoured craft methods. The entire process of making the coat is done by hand, which is why every piece is unique and one-of-a-kind. We put our whole hearts into our coats. Why? Because coats are our passion 🙂
Individual order - It is possible to carry out certain alterations at the customer’s request: shortening or lengthening the sleeves, or shortening or lengthening the coat. The cost is determined on a case-by-case basis, following prior contact to discuss the feasibility and scope of the work.
Customised, personalised orders cannot be exchanged or returned.
The order processing time depends on current stock levels in the workshop and the availability of the specific colour of fabric. If the coat in question is in stock, the order will be processed within 2–5 working days. If the coat needs to be made to order or the order requires customisation – such as alterations or the creation of a new coat to the customer’s specifications – the order processing time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
