The Barcelona short trench coat is a longer, loose-fitting jacket that’s perfect as a spring outer layer. Its cut is reminiscent of a classic diplomat’s coat. Straight front, gently contoured back, mid-thigh length. No fly. Double-breasted fastening with hand-sewn buttons. Classically set-in sleeves finished with buttons. Side pockets set diagonally, adorned with flaps at the front, and a breast pocket. A sailor-style collar that creates a V-neckline. Standing up, it will protect you from the wind on cooler days. A short trench coat Made entirely with an acetate lining for comfort. We’ve crafted it from a soft and versatile fabric, allowing the coat to transform and serve different purposes depending on the weather. At times it takes on the role of a short trench coat, whilst on warmer days it serves as a blazer.
All this means that you can easily style a short, blazer-cut trench coat at any time of year, changing its look with accessories. It’s the perfect replacement for a katana jacket, a bomber jacket or a classic spring coat. Paired with a dress and high heels for a night out, or with trousers for a business meeting, it takes on the role of a blazer. It also looks great in layered outfits, worn under a coat or a trench coat. If you choose a larger size, it’ll fit perfectly with the current trend for oversized blazers. Then, by pairing it with a hoodie, jeans and trainers, you’ll give it a casual yet very stylish look.

We will tell you how to measure your silhouette correctly in the tab How do you choose the right size? Current trends give us plenty of freedom. The looser the fit, the better. With this style, the most important thing is that it doesn’t cling too tightly to the hips. If you have a pear-shaped figure, focus on the fit around the shoulders – in which case, however, you’ll mainly be wearing the short trench coat unbuttoned. If you’re unsure about the size, please get in touch.
Material: 63% polyester, 33% viscose, 4% elastane
Lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and allowing air to pass through, so it wears well. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
We designed and sewed this short Barcelona-style trench coat in our family-run workshop in Poznań. We sew our coats by hand in our workshop. The process begins with laying out the fabric by hand, ensuring that every part of the coat fits together perfectly and that as little waste as possible is produced. Next comes the sewing of the coat and the hand-sewing of the buttons. The whole process is labour-intensive. However, we are confident that we deliver garments produced with attention to the smallest detail.
As we sew all the products ourselves, we offer the possibility of Individual Order with minor alterations, such as: shortening or lengthening the sleeves, or shortening or lengthening the trench coat. The cost of the alterations is determined on a case-by-case basis following prior consultation. An individual order is not subject to refund or exchange.
This short, blazer-style trench coat should be dry-cleaned. However, you can look after it on a daily basis – air it out regularly, hang it on the contoured hanger (included with your purchase), unbutton it whilst driving, and take care to avoid snags – and it will serve you well for years to come. We discuss how to look after coats in more detail in our short guide at the link below How to care for and maintain coats?
The lead time depends on the current stock in the atelier and the availability of the fabric colour. If a particular jacket is available in the studio, the order will be processed very quickly, 2-5 working days. If it is necessary to sew the jacket or customise the order - to make an alteration or sew a new jacket according to the customer's specifications - the lead time can be extended, up to a maximum of 2 weeks.
We encourage you to like our profile on Instagram and Facebook.
In line with our philosophy of minimising our environmental impact, we avoid overproduction and do not make coats for stock. We therefore ask for your patience whilst you wait for your order to be processed. We do our very best to ensure that your dream coat or jacket reaches you as soon as possible.
