The Michalina women’s woollen hooded coat is a very stylish and practical choice for a winter coat. This coat fastens with buttons – when buttoned up, only the top button is visible, whilst the others are concealed within a special placket. This design gives the coat a minimalist and simple silhouette. The coat features a very interesting collar design that forms a cosy stand-up collar. On cold winter days, the back of the stand-up collar can be raised, allowing the collar to serve as a hood to protect against the cold and wind. When unfolded, however, it forms a large shawl-style collar. The coat’s silhouette is fitted thanks to the classic set-in sleeves and a fitted back. However, the front is straight and the coat may have a slightly looser fit. Two side inset pockets. Made from a wool and alpaca blend, it is very warm and soft. This wool coat with a hood is fully lined and will be perfect for the winter chill.

Fabric: 60% wool, 22% polyester, 10% viscose, 8% alpaca
Lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and allowing air to pass through. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.

We designed and made this coat in our family workshop in Poznań. All our coats are hand-sewn using traditional, labour-intensive methods. We put a great deal of heart into every piece, and with the future in mind, we operate in an environmentally friendly way.
The Michalina women’s woollen hooded coat should be dry-cleaned. To refresh the woollen fabric regularly, we recommend Brush for cleaning and care of the coatwhich can be purchased in our shop.
Individual order – the option to shorten or lengthen the sleeves, and to lengthen or shorten the coat – the cost is determined on a case-by-case basis following prior contact.
An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
The order processing time depends on our current stock levels and the availability of the specific colour of fabric. If the coat is ready-made, the order will be processed very quickly, within 2–5 working days. If the coat needs to be made to order or the order requires customisation – such as alterations or the creation of a new coat according to the customer’s specifications – the order fulfilment time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
