The Polly short winter woollen jacket with a high collar is a women’s winter jacket that is very with a modern, architectural design. The most distinctive feature of the Polly jacket is a high stand with a geometric shape. When fastened up to the neck, it protects against the cold and wind, whilst when left unfastened, it drapes softly around the neck, forming a turn-down collar. Raglan sleeves They create a gentle line along the shoulders and give the jacket a slightly oversized look. This means you can easily fit a thicker winter jumper, hoodie or jacket underneath.

A shorter version reaching beyond the hip line It ensures comfort and offers plenty of freedom when it comes to styling. You can wear Polly loosely, letting it retain its nonchalant character, or tie it a strip of the same fabric, gently accentuating the waist. Decorative epaulettes on the shoulders They add a touch of character to the overall look. The two side pockets, finished with a trim, are a practical yet discreet detail.

The whole thing is rounded off by viscose lining with a subtle sheen, which ensures comfort and highlights the elegance of the meticulous finish. The viscose lining is highly absorbent and breathable. It is treated with an anti-static finish and is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

Insulation: 100% recycled polyester non-woven insulation

We insulate our coats with compressed, thermal-insulating non-woven fabric quilted onto the lining. The non-woven fabric is made from polyester fibres produced from recycled materials. The material is lightweight, thin and, at the same time, provides excellent insulation. The non-woven fabric we use is moisture-resistant (it retains its insulating properties and warmth even in damp conditions), windproof, hypoallergenic and breathable. It is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.

The Polly jacket is being made from start to finish in our family-run tailor’s workshop in Poznań. Since 1988, we have been preserving traditional local craftsmanship, paying close attention to precision and every detail. We arrange the herringbone pattern by hand on each individual part of the jacket to ensure the whole piece is harmonious and meticulously finished. We even sew on the buttons by hand. It is precisely these details that make every jacket a true example of craftsmanship, rather than mass production.

How do you look after a woollen jacket?

It is best to have the jacket dry-cleaned. On a day-to-day basis, it is a good idea to air it out regularly and gently brush it with a special Brush for cleaning and care of the coat, available in our shop. Minor creases can be removed using a steamer. When not in season, store the jacket in a wide, contoured hanger, ideally a cover. Individual order - We can carry out certain alterations at the customer’s request: shortening or lengthening the sleeves, shortening or lengthening the coat, and removing decorative epaulettes. The scope of the alterations and their cost are determined on a case-by-case basis, following prior consultation. An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.

Order processing time

The lead time depends on current stock levels in the workshop and the availability of the chosen material. If the jacket is in stock, we usually process the order within 2–5 working days. If a new jacket needs to be made or custom alterations are required, the lead time may be extended to 2 weeks.
