Material: 80% wool, 20% polyamide
Lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and allowing air to pass through. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
A long, stone-coloured coat with a dressing-gown cut was made in our family tailor’s workshop in Poznań. It has been made responsibly – with respect for the environment and Fair Trade principles. Every detail, from the construction to the hand-sewn buttons, reflects our artisanal approach to creating clothes.
The coat should be dry-cleaned. For frequent refreshing of the wool we recommend the following Brush for cleaning and care of the coat, which you can buy from our shop. To keep your coat clean, it is often enough simply to air it out and brush it regularly. This method is gentler on the fabric and helps to avoid the use of water and energy in the washing process. By looking after your clothes, you’re helping to protect the environment. We encourage you to read our guide: How to care for and maintain coats?
It is possible to make some modifications in the Individual orders – at the customer’s request: shortening or lengthening the sleeves, and shortening or lengthening the coat. An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
The order processing time depends on current stock levels in our workshop and the availability of the specific colour of fabric. If the coat is already made, the order will be processed very quickly – within 2–5 working days. If a new coat needs to be made or the order requires customisation – such as alterations or the creation of a new coat to the customer’s specifications – the order fulfilment time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
We do our utmost to keep waiting times as short as possible. We do not make coats for stock, and in most cases they are made to order, hand-sewn with attention to every detail. We ask for your understanding and patience – it is precisely this time and precision that make our products so unique.
