We have made this beautiful winter coat from a soft woollen fabric with a slightly hairy texture. Also worth noting is the unique herringbone pattern, in which threads in two shades of beige are interwoven. It fastens with tortoiseshell buttons in darker shades of brown. The figure-flattering lapelled collar can be worn turned up for extra protection against the cold. The coat features a fitted back and a contoured front, ensuring it fits the figure perfectly; it also comes with a belt made from the same fabric to emphasise the waist. It has two diagonally sewn-in pockets finished with decorative trim. The coat has a vent at the back. It is fully lined with acetate and has additional insulation. We recommend it for winter.

Material: 80% virgin wool, 20% polyamide
Lining: 100% acetate
Acetate, like viscose, is made from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be produced from recycled cellulose, such as paper. Acetate lining absorbs moisture exceptionally well and is breathable, making it comfortable to wear. It is treated with an anti-static finish and is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
The Kira long winter coat in beige herringbone should be dry-cleaned. Wool coats require special care: brushing, airing and hanging on a contoured hanger. The Kira long winter coat in a beige herringbone pattern was made in our family workshop in Poznań in accordance with Fair Trade principles and in an environmentally friendly manner. We’ve taken care of every detail, from the time-consuming selection of materials and linings, through the coat’s tailored construction, right down to its finishing touches. It is a gem of craftsmanship, in which even the buttons have been sewn on by hand. Marvel at its softness and the quality of its workmanship.
The order processing time depends on current stock levels in our workshop and the availability of the specific colour of fabric. If the coat in question has already been made, the order will be processed very quickly – within 2–5 working days. If the coat needs to be made from scratch or the order requires customisation – such as alterations or the creation of a new coat according to the customer’s specifications – the order fulfilment time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
