Long transitional twill coat Ellen is our latest outerwear offering for spring and autumn. The cut of the coat is reminiscent of a loose trench coat, but it is not made of cotton, but of a soft blend. lighter weight wools. It ensures thermal comfort on colder days and breathability when the sun is shining. Particularly noteworthy is the interesting pattern of the fabric, which was created from twisted strips in two colours - white and grey, called diagonal. It is delicate, yet adds character and makes the coat look interesting. Such a pattern draws the eye. All finished with a lining.
The coat has raglan, long sleeves, padded collar, decorative epaulettes on the shoulders and two, side slit-finished pockets. It has a double-breasted button fastening i tied at the waist. Length to the mid-calf with a back zipper that not only adds elegance but also functionality.
The Ellen long transitional coat in two-tone twill is a coat with a very considered cut. Designed to both accentuate the silhouette and ensure comfort when worn. Hence the raglan sleeve construction that gives softness and a gentle looseness. The cut is casual but not oversized. Therefore, despite the fit, it will accommodate a jumper or jacket. The most important thing about this model is that it does not sag at the hips. Compared to waisted coats, it is half a number larger. But the charm is in the loose fit. For tips on how to choose your cut, see the tab: How do you choose a coat to suit your figure?
An exquisite proposition offering virtually unlimited styling possibilities. A classic cut and a subtle pattern - what more could you want? Ellen's long transitional grey twill trench coat has been sewn from a beautiful material found in deadstock. For many years, we have been striving to reduce overproduction and to reduce the use of raw materials, natural resources, water and energy. To this end, we search for interesting, already produced materials and transform them into coats in limited quantities. Thanks to the manual process of making the coat, we are able to precisely match the pattern of the material in each coat piece and, at the same time, arrange the cut in such a way that as little waste as possible is created, thus minimising the negative impact on the environment and providing you with a coat of the highest quality.
The coat should be dry-cleaned. Proper care, hanging and avoiding snags will ensure that your coat remains beautiful for a long time. Take a look at our tab: How to nurture and care for the coat?, where we have included simple methods for enjoying your coat for a long time. And to refresh your wool frequently, we recommend the following Brush for cleaning and care of the coatwhich can be purchased in our shop.
There is also the possibility of Individual orders, i.e. with minor modifications at the client's request. We can shorten or lengthen the sleeves, shorten or lengthen the length of the coat. If you do not like the epaulettes on the shoulders, it is also possible to remove them. The cost of such a service is determined individually after contacting us and establishing the possible options.
An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
The lead time depends on the current stock in the atelier and the availability of the fabric colour in question.
