When designing the Nela long cotton chocolate-coloured women’s trench coat, we drew inspiration from a fashion aesthetic known as Quiet Luxury. Acetate, like viscose, is made from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be produced from recycled cellulose, such as paper. Acetate lining absorbs moisture exceptionally well, is breathable and comfortable to wear. It is treated with an anti-static finish and is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
The Nela long cotton chocolate-coloured women’s trench coat was created at our family-run tailor’s shop in Poznań. Made from plain water-repellent cotton blend and a breathable acetate and viscose lining. Each coat has been precisely cut and sewn, with attention to the finest details. This is a model from a limited edition collection – premium product, which stands out not only for its style but also for the quality of its craftsmanship.
We practise traditional, artisanal tailoring – this approach not only enables us to achieve a perfect finish, but also to minimise fabric usage and reduce waste, which in turn means a lower environmental impact.
We recommend having your coat dry-cleaned. What’s more, to keep it in good condition, all it takes is a few simple habits – what are they? We’ve got some tips in our section: How to nurture and care for the coat? Simple, basic steps such as hanging your coat up properly, airing it out and avoiding snags will ensure your coat stays looking its best for a long time. This is gentler on the fabric and reduces water consumption during the washing process.
It is possible to make some modifications in the Individual orders – At the customer’s request: shortening or lengthening of sleeves, and shortening or lengthening of the coat. The scope of the alterations and their cost are determined separately for each order. An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
The order processing time depends on current stock levels in our workshop and the availability of the specific colour of fabric. If a particular coat is in stock, the order will be processed very quickly – within 2–5 working days. If a new coat needs to be made or the order requires customisation – such as alterations or the creation of a new coat to the customer’s specifications – the order fulfilment time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
We do our best to keep the waiting time as short as possible, but our coats are sewn by hand using traditional methods, so please be patient.
