Mira’s black coat, made from a blend of wool, alpaca and mohair, is crafted from a high-quality, substantial wool blend fabric. It fastens with a double-breasted placket featuring colour-coordinated buttons, which are the coat’s only decorative feature. This style is very minimalist, giving it a timeless and elegant quality. Exclusive range. The coat is fitted at the back and contoured at the front, with no additional darts. It features a classic shoulder line and a turn-down collar with lapels that accentuate the neckline. The raised collar provides protection from the wind. A detachable belt, made from the same fabric, can be tied to accentuate the waist. Two side pockets finished with a trim. Mid-calf length, with a fly. Refined down to the smallest detail, it’s perfect for the winter season and you can easily create all sorts of looks with it. It all depends on your style, preferences and creativity. Lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and allowing air to pass through. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
The Mira black coat, made from wool, alpaca and mohair, was created in our family tailor shop in Poznań, in an environmentally friendly and Fair Trade manner. Our coat is an artisanal creation in which even the buttons have been sewn by hand. It has been sewn from deadstock material selected by us, previously produced for a well-known brand. The process of finding materials is very labour-intensive, but this allows us to offer very good quality materials at a good price and contribute to reducing global overproduction. Sustainability is very important to us.
The coat should be dry-cleaned. For frequent refreshing of the wool we recommend the following Brush for cleaning and care of the coat, which you can buy from our shop. To keep your coat clean, it is often enough simply to air it out and brush it regularly. This method is gentler on the fabric and helps to avoid the use of water and energy in the washing process. It is possible to make some modifications in the Individual orders – at the customer’s request: shortening or lengthening the sleeves, and shortening or lengthening the coat. An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
The order processing time depends on current stock levels in our workshop and the availability of the specific colour of fabric. If a particular coat is in stock, the order will be processed very quickly – within 2–5 working days. If a new coat needs to be made or the order requires customisation – such as alterations or the creation of a new coat to the customer’s specifications – the order fulfilment time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
We do our best to keep the waiting time as short as possible, but our coats are sewn by hand using traditional methods, so please be patient.
