The Vivienne black melange woollen coat is a loose-fitting winter coat made from a thick, substantial woollen fabric featuring a beautiful, delicate, irregular pattern. This makes each coat unique. The soft, supple fabric calls for a soft silhouette. Hence, the coat features raglan sleeves, which soften the line of the shoulders whilst allowing great freedom of movement. The front panels of the coat have been lined with a very delicate interlining that stabilises the fabric fibres, giving it an exclusive feel. The coat features a lapel collar and a removable belt made from the same material. The belt beautifully defines the waist. It looks equally good tied at the back, highlighting the coat’s simple and minimalist silhouette. The coat is a single-breasted design, fastened with hand-sewn buttons. Wide trims adorn the front, diagonally sewn-in pockets. The coat has no back vent. It is tailored to a slim fit, with a very comfortable and relaxed silhouette. You’ll find it easy to wrap yourself up in it on winter days. Raising the collar provides additional protection from the wind. Limited edition. Fully lined.
The Vivienne black melange wool coat will become an essential part of your wardrobe, sure to see you through for years to come. The versatile fabric pattern, combined with the comfortable raglan sleeves, creates the perfect ensemble. It’s perfect for layering over slightly bulkier outfits, such as a hoodie or a loose jumper, as well as a blazer or jacket. The relaxed and fairly roomy cut of this coat makes it easy to create a sporty look. Trainers, a shopper bag, an oversized beanie – and you’re all set! However, there’s nothing to stop you from dressing up in high heels, seamed stockings and an elegant handbag. Style it however you like best.
Laying out the fabric by hand allows us to ensure the pattern fits perfectly on the coat’s components and minimises waste. Because we practise traditional tailoring, you receive a product crafted with the utmost precision and the passion we put into our daily work. An added benefit is that we minimise our negative impact on the environment.

Fabric: black melange, grey melange, burgundy melange: virgin wool 97%, cashmere 3%
Chocolate-coloured fabric, mocha: 60% alpaca, 30% wool, 10% polyamide
Lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and allowing air to pass through. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.

If it is necessary to sew a new coat or individualise the order, i.e. make an alteration or sew a new coat according to the customer's specifications, the lead time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
