The front panels of the coat have been additionally lined with a very delicate interlining, which stabilises the fibres, enhances the fabric’s properties and gives the coat a luxurious look. The coat features classic set-in sleeves and a turn-down collar with lapels. It has a fitted back with a slimming vent, a contoured front and a double-breasted button fastening. Black fitted long coat Como It has been designed to make the figure appear slimmer and taller. A solid colour (especially a dark one), the right cut for the coat, and the look is achieved. This style does not distort the body’s proportions or overwhelm the figure, which is why even Short people will look great in it. A long coat will give them a light, airy look and make them appear taller. You’ll achieve the same effect by leaving the coat unbuttoned or tying a belt at the back. Material: 80% wool, 20% polyamide
Lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and permeable to air. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
We designed and sewed the black, fitted, long Como coat in our workshop, using traditional, labour-intensive methods and putting a great deal of heart and soul into it, whilst ensuring the process was environmentally friendly.
Individual order - Some modifications can be made at the client's request: shortening, lengthening of the sleeve, shortening and lengthening of the coat. Cost to be determined individually, after prior contact.
An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
The lead time depends on the current stock in the atelier and the availability of the fabric colour. If a given coat is available in the atelier, the order will be fulfilled very quickly - 2-5 working days. If it is necessary to sew the coat or to individualise the order according to the customer's specifications - making alterations or sewing a new coat - the lead time may be extended, up to a maximum of 2 weeks.
The coat should be dry-cleaned. For frequent refreshing of the coat we recommend the following Brush for cleaning and care of the coatwhich can be purchased in our shop. To keep jackets and coats clean, it is often enough to air them regularly and clean them with a dedicated brush. The process is gentler on the fabrics and avoids using water and energy. Remember that by taking care of your clothes you are protecting our environment.
