Lana’s long camel-coloured camel wool coat is a minimalist and iconic design, crafted from a beautiful, soft, short-pile fabric. The fabric’s exquisite quality is accentuated by its natural, subtle sheen. The effect of a delicate, wavy texture on the fabric, reminiscent of the patterns created by the wind on sand dunes or on water, is called zibellino. It gives the impression of three-dimensionality and is used on natural fabrics of the highest quality. The front panels of the coat have been additionally lined with a very delicate interlining, which stabilises the fibres, emphasises the fabric’s properties and enhances the coat’s luxurious appearance. The coat features classic set-in sleeves and a turn-down collar with lapels. The back is fitted with a slit to elongate the silhouette, the front is contoured, and it fastens with a double-breasted row of tortoiseshell buttons. Two side pockets finished with a trim. The whole garment is fastened with a belt made from the same fabric. Mid-calf length. The coat is fully lined, including the sleeves. The belt will accentuate your waist beautifully, whilst the raised collar will protect you from the wind. Material: 100% camel wool
Shiny lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and allowing air to pass through, so it provides thermal comfort and wears well. It is coated with an antistatic apprette and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
We designed and sewed this long camel-coloured Lana camel wool coat in our family workshop, using traditional, labour-intensive methods and putting our hearts and souls into it, whilst ensuring the process was environmentally friendly.
Individual order - Some modifications can be made at the client's request: shortening, lengthening of the sleeve, shortening and lengthening of the coat. Cost to be determined individually, after prior contact.
An individual order is not subject to exchange or refund.
The lead time depends on the current stock in the atelier and the availability of a given colour of material. If the given coat is available in the atelier, the order will be realised very quickly within 2-5 working days. If it is necessary to sew the coat or to individualise the order according to the customer's specifications - making alterations or sewing a new coat - the lead time may be extended, up to a maximum of 2 weeks.
The coat should be dry-cleaned. For frequent refreshing of the coat we recommend the following Brush for cleaning and care of the coatwhich can be purchased in our shop. To keep jackets and coats clean, it is often enough to air them regularly and clean them with a dedicated brush. The process is gentler on the fabrics and avoids using water and energy. Remember that by taking care of your clothes you are protecting our environment.
