Ladies' long herringbone winter coat with wool Lukka is an insulated winter coat with a classic, timeless cut and pattern. Fitted to the silhouette at the back, the front is profiled, making the coat very comfortable and although fitted, it does not hug the silhouette. The belt, made of the same fabric as the coat, helps to further emphasise the waist. Tied at the back, as in a trench coat, it shows off the sheer form of the coat. Two side slit pockets and a slightly widened collar. The raised collar wraps and protects against the wind and looks very stylish. Opening at the back. Coat length to mid-calf. Two-button placket. Fully lined. Additionally insulated, also in sleeves. Ideal for autumn and winter chills. Carefully tailored and sewn. Refined to the smallest detail. A premium product in limited quantities.
We designed the coat to be chic and characterful, and with a little effort (adding, for example, a sporty hoodie, jeans or a knitted dress or quilted waistcoat) it undergoes a complete metamorphosis and works well in everyday styling. Black and white herringbone is a pattern that never loses its value. It is the perfect choice for those who appreciate classics, yet want to add a distinctive yet elegant touch to their styling. It will find its perfect match in monochromatic and multi-layered outfits, e.g. for the office. For the more daring, I recommend pairing it with boldly coloured accessories such as a fuchsia hat, cobalt blue scarf or camel leather handbag. Herringbone works well with other patterns such as checks or stripes if they are in a similar monochrome colour scheme.

Herringbone material: 80% virgin wool, 20% polyamide
Lining: 100% acetate
Like viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture and permeable to air. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
Our coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex® Standard 100 certified.
The ladies' long herringbone winter coat in Lucca wool should be dry-cleaned. For home wool cleaning we recommend Brush for cleaning and care of the coat, which can be purchased in our shop. What to do to enjoy your coat indefinitely is suggested under How to care for and maintain coats. By taking care of your clothing you are at the same time taking care of the environment.
On special request, we can make small modifications, such as shortening or lengthening the sleeves, shortening or lengthening the coat, sewing a coat with an opening at the back. Such modifications give the order a status of Individual order. Individual order is not exchangeable or refundable. All personalisations are agreed and priced separately. Please contact us by email.
The lead time depends on the company's current stock and the availability of a given fabric colour. If a given coat is available in the company, the order will be realised very quickly - 2-5 working days. If individualisation of the order is necessary - making alterations or sewing a new coat - the lead time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
We are a family-run workshop where we practice traditional tailoring. We minimise waste and avoid overproduction, so we do not sew coats for stock. We therefore ask for your patience as we need to sew this coat for you.
