The viscose lining is highly absorbent and breathable, ensuring thermal comfort and a pleasant feel against the skin. It is treated with an anti-static finish and is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Insulation: 100% recycled polyester non-woven insulation
We insulate our coats with compressed, thermally insulating non-woven fabric quilted onto the lining. The non-woven fabric is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and, at the same time, provides excellent insulation. The insulation we use is moisture-resistant (it retains its insulating properties and warmth even in damp conditions), windproof, hypoallergenic and breathable. It is certified to the OEKO-TEX® Standard 100.
Second-hand fabric – a conscious choice
Sky is made from high-quality material sourced from deadstock – surplus stock from a well-known brand. By choosing these fabrics, we give them a new lease of life whilst reducing the amount of material that might otherwise go to waste. Sourcing unique deadstock fabrics takes time and dedication, but we believe it is worth it. This enables us to create coats made from premium-quality fabrics, whilst remaining true to the idea of more responsible fashion.
Every Sky coat is made in our a family-run tailoring business in Poznań, where traditional craftsmanship meets contemporary design. We pay attention to every detail – from the construction and drape of the fabric to the final finish.
Individual order
We make all our coats ourselves, which is why, as part of Individual Order It is possible to make certain alterations, such as shortening or lengthening the body or adjusting the sleeve length. We will discuss the scope of personalisation and the associated cost on a case-by-case basis via email. Custom orders cannot be exchanged or returned.
Order processing time
Once the coat you have chosen is ready in our workshop, we will fulfil your order within 2–5 working days. If a new coat needs to be made or personalised alterations are required, the lead time may be extended to a maximum of 2 weeks.
Each model is made by hand using traditional tailoring methods, and this takes time. We do our utmost to keep the waiting time as short as possible.
How do you look after your coat?
Sky’s black long woollen winter coat It should be dry-cleaned. On a day-to-day basis, it is a good idea to air it out regularly and clean it with a brush designed for this purpose. To freshen up your coat, we recommend Brush for cleaning and care of the coat, available in our shop. These simple steps help to keep the fabric looking fresh and reduce the need for frequent cleaning. We recommend using gentle steam to remove minor creases. When not in season, it is best to store your coat on a wide, contoured hanger, which will help preserve the correct shape of the shoulders.
