A double-breasted, herringbone-patterned, padded Florence coat with a loose, straight cut. The coat features a removable belt made from the same fabric. The dropped shoulder line gives the coat a looser, slightly oversized fit. The tie-belt accentuates the waist. Turn-down collar, slightly flared. Front pockets set at an angle. Knee-length. No slit at the back hem (no vent). Limited edition. Coat in fully insulated<\/strong>, perfect for winter.<\/p>\n

The chic, woollen Florence coat, featuring a classic herringbone pattern, will keep you cosy on cold days. This slightly oversized coat style allows for a variety of looks and combinations. In its own right, this coat blends classic and modern styles and will become an essential part of your everyday wardrobe. It will look great with both knee-high boots and a leather handbag, as well as with a soft knitted hat and a loose-fitting scarf. You can wear the wide, turn-up collar turned up to provide extra protection against the cold and wind.<\/p>\n

The coats in our workshop are made by hand. The process of creating a coat begins with laying out the fabric by hand, so that every part of the coat fits together both in terms of construction and the herringbone pattern. This is followed by sewing the coat and hand-sewing on the buttons. The whole process is labour-intensive. In line with our philosophy of minimising our environmental impact, we avoid overproduction and do not make coats for stock. We therefore ask for your patience whilst you wait for your order to be fulfilled. We do our utmost to ensure your coat reaches you as soon as possible.<\/p>\n

Material: 80% virgin wool, 20% polyamide
\nLining: 100% acetate
\nLike viscose, acetate is produced from cellulose. Acetate yarn can also be made from recycled cellulose such as paper. The acetate lining is excellent at absorbing moisture, permeable to air and comfortable to wear. It is coated with an antistatic apprettee and is OEKOtex\u00ae Standard 100 certified.<\/p>\n

Insulation: 100% non-woven recycled polyester
\nOur coats are insulated with a compressed thermo-insulating quilted fleece on the lining. The fleece is made from recycled polyester fibres. The material is lightweight, thin and at the same time perfectly insulating. The insulating fleece we use is resistant to moisture (it retains its insulating properties and warming effect even in damp conditions), stops the wind, is hypoallergenic and breathable. It is OEKOtex\u00ae Standard 100 certified.<\/p>\n

The coat should be dry-cleaned. However, you can take care of it on a day-to-day basis by using the following products offered in our shop Brushes for cleaning and care of the coat<\/a>. By taking care of your coat you are also helping to protect the environment, which is why in the How to nurture and care for the coat?<\/a> we have included tips on how to extend the life of your coat.<\/p>\n

Individual order\u00a0<\/strong>- We can carry out certain modifications at the customer's request, such as: shortening, lengthening of the sleeve, shortening and lengthening of the coat. We determine the cost individually, pricing the scope of work, after prior contact. Individual, personalised orders cannot be returned or exchanged.\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n

The lead time depends on the company's current stock and the availability of the fabric colour in question. If a given coat is available in the company, the order will be fulfilled very quickly - 2-5 working days. If it is necessary to sew the coat or individualise the order - making alterations or sewing a new coat - the lead time may be extended, up to a maximum of 2 weeks.<\/p>\n

We have been practising this craft for over 37 years and make our coats using traditional methods; for this reason, we do not produce coats for stock.
